KEO and Associates was brought on board by the Detroit Building Authority (DBA) and the Detroit Police Department (DPD) to carry out Design–Build Services at the Detroit Police Department’s 2nd Precinct facility in Detroit Michigan.

This project was particularly difficult due to the fact that the Precinct remained open during the construction period. Keo team encountered difficult conditions that required coordinated logistics and exceptional cooperation with the Precinct Commander and officers in dealing with detainees and general public.

Major work areas included new offices, interrogation rooms, lockup cell blocks, locker rooms and the entrance lobby major interior and roof renovation, new HVAC equipment and ductwork, Electrical and Fire Suppression system upgrades throughout the building.
