The Project Manager and Business Development professional plays a dual role within our organization, combining project management expertise with strategic business development initiatives. This individual will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement solutions to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and post-project evaluations.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project deadlines.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and close-out materials.
Business Development:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, conducting market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry contacts to expand the company’s network and drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new projects and contracts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies that enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the market.
- Track and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to stay informed about market trends and build the company’s profile.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
