KEO and Associates Inc is monitoring the current Corona virus/COVID-19 pandemic and considering various potential responses to this very fluid situation. It is our intent to maintain business operations to the best of our ability while taking necessary actions to minimize the spread of the virus and maintain the health of our employees. Precautions will include, but not be limited to, elimination of non-essential travel and face-to-face meetings, telecommuting (except for essential jobsites), strictly enforcing a stay-home-when-sick policy, and project team redundancy planning.
We highly value our business partners and want to assure you that addressing this issue is our highest priority.
KEO and Associates Inc. is adhering to the State of Michigan’s Executive Order and keeping our staff working from home at this time, except for projects classified as essential.
Over the past several weeks, KEO`s COVID-19 Response Team has been meeting daily, building protocols, and taking action to help keep our employees, business partners, and the communities where we live and work safe. In addition to implementing increased safety measures at KEO`s jobsites and offices, we are also:
- Working closely with our clients to ensure our infrastructure projects are moving forward and that we are prepared to respond appropriately to this extremely dynamic situation.
- Encouraging employees who can, to work from home while supporting them with robust technology solutions.
- Canceling or postponing all non-essential business travel, including conference and meeting attendance.
- Providing ongoing information and guidance to employees that is in alignment with guidance from the CDC.
Due to the fluid nature of this pandemic, the exact impact cannot be fully quantified at this time. We anticipate that there will be job site labor, material, and equipment sourcing impacts associated with the shutdown, and will be in contact with our clients as details become available.
It’s very important to practice social distancing and following guidelines so we can all return to normalcy
and get back to building communities as soon as possible. In the meantime, here are some ways we can help ourselves and communities from home:
When working from home, try to stick to your routines and follow these guidelines from Society for Marketing Professional Services.
1. Order delivery from your favorite local restaurants.
2. Continue to practice social distancing, but don’t forget to be social! Using FaceTime, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other video conferencing tools allows you to stay connected during these isolating times.
3. Check on your neighbors, especially the most vulnerable ones, to make sure they have everything they need.
If you have any questions about our COVID-19 response, please contact our office at info@keoassoc.com
Everyone please be well, stay safe, and we’ll see you on the other side of this.
